<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flower bed enabling enjoyment of a whole plantation layout at direct or indirect view, and facilitating planting work, and to provide a method for making the flower bed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This flower bed is such that plant plantation forming a distorted image 12 is formed on a prescribed surface, a curved mirror 14 having a curved reflecting surface is arranged on a specific place of the surface, and a restored image 10a obtained by restoring the distorted image 12 to an original image 10 is appreciated with the curved mirror 14. Furthermore, a plant plantation design forming the distorted image 12 is formed on a surface of a water soluble paper 16, and plant seeds and bulbs 20 are arranged along the design with the water soluble paper 16. When appreciating after a prescribed design is formed by plants, the curved mirror 14 having the curved reflecting surface is arranged on a specific place to the distorted image 12, and the distorted image 12 is restored to the original image 10 for appreciation.
