PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe method for producing a Grignard reagent of fluorobenzene, suitable for industrial mass synthesis, and providing a good yield regardless of using metal magnesium. SOLUTION: The method for producing the Grignard reagent of the fluorobenzene includes a step for reacting the metal magnesium with a halogenated phenyl compound in a solvent containing a specific ether in the presence of a reaction initiator.
