PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper bag whose strength is high enough to the most extent possible, while reducing its material, namely, reinforcing paper, so as to curtail the cost of the manufacturing of the paper bag as a whole, and which is easy to be sealed and unsealed. SOLUTION: The paper bag 1 provided with a paper-made cylindrical body of two or more layers, namely, paper layers 2, 3, has reinforcing paper 5 sandwiched between paper layers at a mouth 1a out of the two end edges of the paper bag 1, that is, the mouth 1a and bottom 1b, while the paper layers sandwiching the reinforcing paper 5 are subjected to sewing work (sewing by the use of a yarn 7) with the sewing subjecting the mouth 1a sealed, and the paper layers at the bottom 1b folded, so that a protector paper 14 seals the bottom 1b.
