PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device including a structure enabling extension of the lifetime of a photoreceptor, so-called an image carrier, an intermediate transfer body, and a transfer material used for an image forming part. SOLUTION: The image forming device selects an image forming mode using black toner, special toner and toner of complementary colors. The primary transfer part of an image using black toner, the primary transfer part of an image using full-color toner, and the primary transfer part of an image using special toner are independent and detachably provided to an intermediate transfer body as a primary transfer member. Regardless of a detaching state of the intermediate transfer body 2 from an image carrier 3 in each primary transfer part, the entering angle of the intermediate transfer body 2 in relation to the image carrier 3 adjacent to the primary transfer body and in a contact state is matched to the horizontal direction as an expanding direction of the intermediate transfer body 2 to prevent the transfer pressure from changing.
