RASAGILINE FORMULATIONS

The present invention relates to pharmaceutical formulations comprising rasagiline, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. Aspects relate to formulations prepared using rasagiline or a salt with a particle size distribution wherein about 90% of the particles have particle sizes smaller than 1000 µm, and having content uniformity such that the formulation contains 90% to 110% of the label content of rasagiline or its salt. Further aspects relate to stable pharmaceutical formulations comprising rasagiline or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, wherein the formulations are substantially free of a sugar alcohol.
