<p>A system for communicating data via a two-dimensional medium comprises: - a single electrically conductive surface or layer (S1), - a first electronic device (T) which has two terminals (T+, T-) or electrodes connected at different points on said conductive surface (S1) and is intended to transmit information by applying a voltage (Vt) or current that can vary over time between said two terminals (T+, T-); and - a second electronic device (R) which has two terminals (R+, R-) or electrodes connected at two points on said conductive surface (S1) and is intended to receive said transmitted information by detecting a potential difference (VR) between the two terminals thereof (R+, R-), which potential difference is caused by said applied voltage or current, such that said information is transmitted and received via the circulation of an electric current through only said conductive surface (S1).</p> |
