The device has a slot, in which edges of lifts (3,4) are accommodated. The slot lies parallel to a rotational axis. The edges of the lifts are bent at an acute angle. A clamping bar is provided for holding the lifts at another edge lying parallel to the rotational axis. The clamping bar is arranged in a channel of the drum. A clamping element is provided for clamping the lifts over a lateral surface in circumferential direction of the drum with a predetermined tensile stress. The slot forms a linear guide for the bent edges during clamping and relaxing of the lifts.
