<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transom window which can be adapted even when a dimension of a door in thickness is increased for facilitating assembling operations, while having a small number of components and a simple structure for reducing coats. <P>SOLUTION: This transom window 100 includes a body member 110 which is mounted in a through-hole provided in a door panel P and which comprises a flange portion 111 and a tube portion 112, and a window member 120. At least one notch 113 is provided at one end of the tube portion 112, and the window member 120 is constituted by integrally molding an end surface portion 121 and a tubular portion 122. Further, an engaging portion 123 is formed in the tubular portion 122, and slits 124 are provided in the length direction of the tubular portion 122 on both the sides of the engaging portion 123. When mounted in the through-hole of the door, the engaging portion 123 is in press contact with an inner surface of the through-hole so that the body member 110 is fixed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
