摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarized electron gun for easily generating polarized electron beams, and to provide a method for generating polarized electron beams, a method for evaluating the electron gun, and a reverse photoelectron spectroscopy. <P>SOLUTION: The polarized electron gun includes a laser light source 11, a light branching means 12 for branching light from the laser light source, a polarized light conversion element 36 for giving a phase difference to one laser light branched by the light branching means 12 depending on an injection position, a lens 18 for condensing one laser light injected via the polarized light conversion element 36, and a semiconductor photo cathode 21 into which one laser light condensed by the lens 18 is injected in synchronization with the other laser light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
