PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for testing power conversion apparatus, capable of conducting a noise test equivalent to a combined noise test without using a finished-product power converter in the power conversion equipment, and applicable to various types of power converters, in a versatile manner. SOLUTION: The apparatus for testing the power conversion apparatus used in place of the finished-product power converter includes a testing power converter having a lower output capacity than this power converter, and a high-frequency voltage application device applying a noise voltage to between a reference potential section of a control circuit and a ground potential section of the testing power converter. The testing power converter includes a power rectifying circuit section converting a commercial AC power into a DC; a system impedance simulation section simulating a system impedance arranged on a latter stage of the power rectification circuit section; and a plurality of upper and lower switching arms arranged on a latter stage of the system impedance-simulating section.
