PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure of an automobile compatibly satisfying the maintainability of an electrical component and the like and the rigidity of a vehicle body. SOLUTION: In the vehicle body structure 100 in which an opening 11Bc is arranged on a floor panel rear part 11B of the vehicle body 100A and the electrical component 15 is arranged in a space M2 accessible from the opening 11Bc, reinforcing members 17 passing the peripheral parts of the opening 11Bc and extending in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body 100A are arranged.
