PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage regulator that is able to correctly set a maximum output current and a short-circuit-time output current. SOLUTION: Included is a circuit as a circuit that decides on a maximum output current Im and a short-circuit-time output current Is of an overcurrent protection circuit which is controlled by using a current mirror circuit that mirrors a current corresponding to an output current without using a resistor that converts the current into a voltage.
