PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire monitoring device improved in a processing rate by reducing the transmission frequency of answer request signals. SOLUTION: The tire monitoring device includes a transmission means (37) which transmits an answer request signal for requesting an answer to a sensor part (28-31) installed to each tire by use of a plurality of LF antennas (24-27) disposed each between front, rear, right and left tires (20-23) individually or in combination; a selection means (40) which selects an LF antenna to be used to transmit the answer request signal; and a specification means (40) which receives an answer signal returned from each sensor part in response to the answer request signal and specifies the position of the sensor part based on the answer signal. The selection means the first antenna (24) that is one of the LF antennas in the first transmission, selects the first antenna and the second antenna (27) adjacent thereto in the second transmission, and selects the second antenna and the third antenna (25) adjacent thereto in the third transmission.
