PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autoanalyzer capable of being rapidly returned to a state before stoppage after the reopening of analysis even if the opening of a cover is detected to stop the autoanalyzer. SOLUTION: The autoanalyzer 100 has an arm 6, which is repeatedly moved to the washing position and suction position of a probe and the discharge position of a sample to be inspected or reagent in this order and dispenses the sample to be inspected or reagent in a reaction tube, on a stage 110. The autoanalyzer 100 has the cover which covers the stage 110 and a sensor 113b detecting the opening and closing of the cover and moves the arm to the washing position when the opening of the cover is detected by the sensor 113b.
