PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food machine suppressing facility investment and running cost, and preventing a device from getting too large. SOLUTION: An air tank 40 for compressing the air and reserving it as the compressed air, and a pump cylinder 32 stretching and contracting directly in conjunction with a cutting operation are provided, so that the air is supplied to the air tank 40 in conjunction with the cutting operation by the pump cylinder 32. Hence, a compressor or the like for operating an air cylinder 18 need not be prepared, and a facility investment cost can is suppressed. The compressor or the like need not be driven separately from a food machine when operating a food slicer, and thus power consumption, namely the running cost, is reduced.
