PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temple of which the weight reduction is achieved without raising a price, the processing man-hour is kept down, and furthermore, the exchange is facilitated. SOLUTION: The temple 5 is connected to a wraparound endpiece 4 of the glasses 1, constituted of a temple body and a hinge member for movably connecting the temple body to the wraparound endpiece 4 of the glasses 1, wherein the temple body is formed like a hollow pipe, has a taper 601 whose diameter is reduced like a taper as going to the tip, the hinge member has an insertion part which has elastic force by forming a plurality of bends, is inserted and engaged into the inside of the base end of the temple body to be extracted, and a temple side connection which is turnably connected to the wraparound endpiece 4, and the temple 5 is connected to the wraparound endpiece 4 by inserting and latching the hinge member whose base end side is connected to the wraparound endpiece into the inside of the base end of the temple body.
