PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of reducing difference in relative speed between a fixation belt unit and a nip part of a pressurizing roller and capable of preventing formation of abnormal image being likely to occur in an intermediate region of the nip part, and to provide an image forming device using this fixing device. SOLUTION: The fixing device includes a fixing roller 12, a separation roller 13 having smaller diameter than that of the fixing roller 12, a fixing belt 11 stretched over the fixing roller 12 and the separation roller 13, the pressurizing roller 14 coming into pressure-contact with the fixing roller 12 and the separation roller 13 through the fixing belt 11 to form the nip part, a first driving mechanism 11s composed of a first motor 11m and a drive transmission system 11t having a one-way clutch to transmit drive of the first motor 11m to the fixing roller 12 through the one-way clutch and transmit drive of the first motor 11m to the separation roller 13, and a second driving mechanism 14s composed of a second motor 14m and a drive transmission system 14t to transmit drive of the second motor 14m to the pressurizing roller 14.
