PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an accident by arousing attention to a driver or the periphery when dangerous driving is performed. SOLUTION: In this information processing apparatus, a driver information detection unit 31A detects driver information related to appearance of the driver driving one's own vehicle, a travel information detection unit 31B detects travel information related to a travel state of the own vehicle, and a peripheral information detection unit 31C detects peripheral information related to a target on the periphery of the own vehicle. A notification selection unit 33 (a warning selection unit 37) selects a notification destination (a warning destination) and a notification method (a warning method) with the detected driver information, travel information, and peripheral information as decision conditions, and a transmission unit 35 transmits danger of the own vehicle to the selected notification destination (warning destination) by the selected notification method (warning method) to arouse the attention to the driver or the periphery when the dangerous driving is performed, so that the occurrence of the accident can be prevented.
