PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that teeth of a toothed V-belt and teeth of a gear engaged with the toothed V-belt and disposed on a rotating shaft of a V-shaped groove bottom of a movable sheave are constituted by equal pitch arrangements, and it is impossible to avoid large noise caused by engagement of the teeth of the toothed V-belt and the teeth of the rotating shaft. SOLUTION: When two kinds of chain links 19S and 19L having different arrangement pitches of a link recession 19a engaged with an engagement tooth 17 are combined at random to form the chain, the link recession 19a engaged with the engagement tooth 17 is in an unequal pitch arrangement, and a relative position relationship between the chain links 19S and 19L and the engagement tooth 17 is adjusted.
