<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turn controller capable of preventing the occurrence of shock to be caused when applying mechanical brakes. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this turn controller, an operation lever for turn is returned to a neutral position, a control valve 33 for turn is returned to a neutral position, and a circuit-for-turn communicating solenoid valve 54 is turned off (is closed) by turning off a rocker switch 26, and then a machine body controller 59 operates the mechanical brakes 41 after a fixed period of time elapses.
