Disclosed is a thio substituted arlymethanesulfinyl compound of formula (A) wherein the substituents are disclosed within the specification. Also disclosed is the use of a compound of formula (A) in the manufacture of a medicament for treatment of a neurological disease or disorder selected from Parkinson's disease; Alzheimer disease; attention deficit disorder; attention deficit disorder; attention deficit hyperactivity disorder; depression; and fatigue associated with a neurological disease or disorder.
