<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fixing members capable of being fixed by easily and accurately positioning without damaging members. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for joining the members, at least two of an abutting surface 1a abutting to a second member 2 and a fitted part 1b buried toward the surface at the opposite side are formed on a first member 1. A second member 2 is made of thermoplastic resin, at least two of an abutting surface 2a abutting to the first member 1 and a projection part 2d projecting on the opposite side are provided corresponding to the fitted part 1b of the first member 1. The method for joining the members includes a first step which abuts the abutting surfaces of the first member 1 and the second member 2 and performs alignment of the fitted part 1b and the projection part 2d, and a second step which projects and fits the second member 2 by softening with an ultrasound on the fitted part 1b of the first member 1 by pressing a transmission member 10 for transmitting the ultrasound to a projection part 2d of the second member 2 as a fitting part 2e. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
