<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve surety of protection of the head of an occupant by an airbag. <P>SOLUTION: Left and right occupant seats 10 (12) of a 2-seater open car are constructed of low back seats without headrests, and reverse U-shape roll bars 44 are disposed behind and adjacent to the occupant seats. Airbag modules 46 are disposed in the vicinity of the base ends of the roll bars 44 or in the upper ends of seat backs 14 (16) of the occupant seats 10 (12), and the airbags 44 deploy upward and fill spaces between the heads H of the occupants and the roll bars 44. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
