<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure diagnosis device performing the leak diagnosis of an evaporated fuel treating device applied to a hybrid vehicle, and properly securing opportunity for performing the leak diagnosis. <P>SOLUTION: Evaporated fuel generated in a fuel tank 20 during fuel supply is introduced to a canister 40 and is temporarily adsorbed in an adsorbent of the canister 40, and the evaporated fuel adsorbed in the adsorbent of the canister 40 is introduced in an intake passage 11 and purge-treated. In a period from when fuel is supplied into the fuel tank 20 till when fuel is supplied next, an integrated amount of evaporated fuel treated by the purge treatment is calculated as an integrated purge amount Sam. When the integrated purge amount Sam thus calculated is equal to or larger than a predetermined amount α, pressure in a path of evaporated fuel including the canister 40 is reduced by a negative pressure pump of a negative pressure pump module 34, and the leak diagnosis of the evaporated fuel treating device is performed based on an inner pressure change in the path during the pressure reduction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
