<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decoder capable of smoothly switching images to be displayed. <P>SOLUTION: The decoder includes a plurality of stream receiving sections 131, 132 for outputting a video stream selected from among video streams received by respective cameras to a stream decoding section 14 and detecting in-frame coding image information in the received video stream, and a switching control section 12 for giving a switching instruction to the stream receiving section 132 of the switching destination, giving an instruction to the switching destination stream receiving section 132 after being informed of the detection of the in-frame coding image information by the section 132 to start an output of the received video stream to the stream decoding section 14, and giving an instruction to the switching source stream receiving section 131 to stop the output of the video stream to the stream decoding section 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
