<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile device capable of simultaneously presenting a lot of pieces of image information and making them easy to view. <P>SOLUTION: An original pressing cover body 13 with an original pressing plate 35 covering original mounting glass 33 disposed on the upper surface of a housing 2 is mounted so as to be elevated, brought down and turned through a hinge part on one side part of the upper surface of the housing body. A projector 38 for projecting images on the basis of image data on the upper surface of the housing 2 on the opposite side of the hinge part of the original pressing cover body 13 is provided with a mechanism to be turnable in the vertical direction or movable in the vertical direction and mounted, and the image data or facsimile reception data are projected to the original pressing plate 35 by the projector 38.
