<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrombectomy catheter of novel structure capable of exhibiting effective excision function for a thrombus. <P>SOLUTION: The thrombectomy catheter inserted into a blood vessel to be used for thrombus treatment is constituted to form a lumen 20 for excision in a catheter body 12, to form an opening portion 30 in a distal end part of the catheter body 12, to project an excision wire 28 inserted into the lumen 20 for excision on an outer circumferential surface of the catheter body 12, through the opening portion 30, so as to form a projecting portion 32, and to form further an excision blade 33 in the projecting portion 32, and the thrombus is excised by the projecting portion 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
