<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device for detecting a position of a pointer, and to provide an electronic apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The input device 10 for inputting information by a pointer and including a plurality of areas different in reflectance of ultrasonic waves includes: a plurality of transmitting elements for transmitting ultrasonic waves; a receiving element for receiving the reflected light of the ultrasonic wave from the pointer; and a control part 40A which supplies an electric signal to the transmitting elements and allows the transmitting elements to transmit ultrasonic waves to an area in which the pointer is arranged, after that, detects the position coordinates of a first reflection area based on a difference between the strength of a reflected wave from the first reflection area having a first reflectance and the strength of a reflected wave from a second reflection area having a second reflectance, and determines the detected position coordinates as information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
