<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sphygmomanometer for quickly pressurizing an upper arm with a simple and inexpensive structure and with reduced energy consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The sphygmomanometer 10 includes: a housing 30 having a cylindrical insertion part; a first air bag 32 provided inside the insertion part; a support belt 34 which is rolled into a spiral shape inside the first air bag 32 and whose diameter is expandable by elastic flexibility; a second air bag 36 which is provided inside the support belt 34 and pressurizes the upper arm of a person to be measured, inserted inside; and a pressurizing means 18 for supplying air for the first air bag 32 and the second air bag 36. When the first air bag 32 and the second air bag 36 are in a non-pressurized state at an initial time when blood pressure measurement is started, by insertion of the upper arm inside the support belt 34 via the second air bag 36, the diameter of the support belt 34 can be expanded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
