PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a development support device to a programmable display unit, and to, in performing an online operation to one desired PLC (programmable controller) among one or two or more PLCs connected to the programmable display unit, simplify the setting operation of a format or address corresponding to the desired PLC as much as possible. SOLUTION: In response to a prescribed PLC selecting operation performed by a user by an operation part, on the basis of PLC-categorized address information obtained by a PLC-categorized address information obtaining means and PLC-categorized format information obtained by a format information obtaining means, a development support device and one PLC selected from a PLC screen by the operation are automatically set in an online operation validating state.
