PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the position coordinates of a mobile terminal even in cases where the number of base stations capable of receiving a radiowave from a mobile terminal is smaller than a number necessary for calculating the position coordinates owing to an obstacle, etc. SOLUTION: In this radio positioning system, radiowave information from the respective base stations is acquired by a positioning server 500. In cases where the number of base stations capable of transmission/reception to/from a mobile terminal is less than a stipulated number, the position of the mobile terminal is calculated by a position coordinate calculator 560b based on positioning information including the position of the mobile terminal measured in the past and time at which the measurement is made, information from a sensor installed on the mobile terminal or map information, and the radiowave information.
