PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-channel echo canceling apparatus for suppressing generation of musical noise. SOLUTION: The multi-channel echo canceling apparatus comprises N pieces (N≥2) of first frequency analyzers, a second frequency analyzer, N pieces of acoustic coupling amount calculators, N pieces of echo power calculators, a similarity coefficient calculator, a gain calculator, a multiplier and a frequency synthesizer. The similarity calculator inputs a playback signal spectrum and a sound collection signal spectrum of each channel and calculates a similarity coefficient by dividing an inner product value of these spectrums with a norm value of a product of the spectrums. The gain calculator inputs the sound collection signal spectrum, the similarity coefficient of each channel and an echo power estimate of each channel and calculates a gain coefficient for reducing the gain coefficient, when the similarity coefficient is large, to suppress echo.
