PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile object image tracking apparatus which is capable of high-speed tracking. SOLUTION: The mobile object image tracking apparatus includes a base 10, a first gimbal 20 having an opening portion and provided on the base 10 turnably to the base 10, a second gimbal 30 provided with an opening input portion 40 introducing the image of the mobile object of a tracking object and provided in the opening portion of the first gimbal 20 turnably to the base 10, an image guiding passage 45 configured to guide an image received through an input opening portion 40 of the second gimbal 30 to the base 10 side from the second gimbal 30 through the first gimbal 20, and an image capturing device 70 provided in the base 10 to image the introduced image and output the image as image data.
