PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a reduction of resolution when photographing in an environmental change by preventing changes of a distance between a lens and a image pickup device and of a tilt of a lens central axis. SOLUTION: An imaging device 1 has a lens 2, an image pickup device 5 having a light receiving portion in a center portion arranged with a predetermined distance from the lens 2, a substrate 6 on which the image pickup device 5 is mounted, a projection portion 15 projecting toward the substrate 6 at an outside position of an outer peripheral edge of the image pickup device 5, a positioning portion 14 for positioning in the vicinity of an outer peripheral portion of the light receiving portion of the image pickup device 5, and a tubular holder 11 housing the lens 2. The positioning portion 14 is directly or indirectly fixed to the image pickup device 5 by a first adhesion bond 16, and the projection portion 15 provided on the holder 11 side is fixed to the substrate 6 via a second adhesion bond 17.
