PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device in which a cable leading out port can be sealed from the inside of a housing to avoid that problem and thereby variations in sealing performance between individual housings can be reduced. SOLUTION: The electronic device has a structure including a sealing material 10 in a position for sealing the cable leading out port 7 in the housing 1. The sealing material consists of a material which thermally changes to a state of sealing the cable leading out port, and a gap 13 between the cable 6 and the cable leading out port is sealed with the thermally changed sealing material. Thus, by the thermally sealing from the inside of the housing, the gap between the cable leading out port and the cable can be satisfactorily sealed, without requiring such work as infiltration or filling of the sealing material into small gaps causing variations in sealing performance between individual housings.
