METHOD FOR COOLING TRANSFORMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary cooling method capable of being conveniently disposed and easily removed as needed without corroding existing electric equipment. SOLUTION: In equipment cooling a transformer body 10 and a radiator 28 using a blower fan 29 by circulating a cooling and insulating fluid therebetween through a piping 19 by a pump 51, a mist generator 35 which generates and sprays a mist 17 having a particle diameter of 80 micron or less is mounted spaced such a distance that the mist 17 sprayed to the cooling fin 31 in the radiator 28 to be cooled is vaporized before reaching thereto and air 18 cooled by the effect of the vaporization heat of the mist 17 sprayed from the mist generator 35 is blown on the cooling fin 31 by the blower fan 29 to cool the radiator.
