PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain higher efficiency and short time of authoring operation by speed up of multiplex processing. SOLUTION: Multiplex processing is virtually performed without generating a file in which base material data of a large capacity is processed as a clip, a UDF image, or the like. That is, a virtual clip dispensing with copy processing of base material data and virtual UDF image are generated, then, an operation time requiring a long time for conventional copy processing is shortened. The reproduction of the virtual clip and the virtual image is achieved by using a base material reference table and a virtual clip reference table and by leading directly base material shown in the table.
