PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive rubber roller with little change of resistance value for a long time and without resistance unevenness even when epichlorohydrin rubber is used for a rubber component of the conductive rubber roller which is used for an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The conductive rubber roller is used for the image forming apparatus at least having: a conductive shaft; and a conductive rubber layer provided at the circumference of the conductive shaft. The conductive rubber layer is the one formed by vulcanizing a rubber composition which at least contains epichlorohydrin rubber, stearic acid or zinc stearate, and does not contain metal oxide or hydrotalcite.
