PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device, capable of securing suitable operation feeling and suitable reliability by producing a sensation of suitable moderation, at operation, while restraining a stroke of a slider at a suitable position range and easily attaining practical use. SOLUTION: The slider 16 is assembled in a first case 11, by inserting in a pushed-operation direction so as to move in a designated direction only, a stopper section 17b for regulating the stroke of the slider 16 is formed on a lower plate 17, arranged below the slider 16 by mounting on the first case 11 from a lower part of the first case 11. Only the lower plate 17 can be made detachable, while the slider 16 is assembled in the first case 11, and the sensation of moderation produced by a production mechanism 21 that produces moderation sensation at operation is arranged between the lower plate 17 and the slider 16.
