摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply measure a three-dimensional position of a flying object such as birds. SOLUTION: A flying object position measuring device 1 uses cameras 10, 11 each loaded with a lens having a longer focal distance than a superwide-angle lens, and the cameras 10, 11 are disposed at a short distance as much as 10 m or less. Since the lenses having a long focal distance are mounted, a flying object flying at a distance of 100 m or more is stereo-photographed using the two cameras 10, 11 disposed at a short distance, thereby obtaining three-dimensional positional information about it. Since the space between the cameras 10, 11 is a short distance as much as 10 m or less, the cameras can be easily installed even in the mountains, and since two or more cameras can be installed within a range of an installation place ranging from several meters square to tens of meter square, the number of staffs can be decreased more than before.
