PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming lens constituted by holding a plurality of lenses by one lens-barrel, which can prevent each lens from causing positional deviation and holding proper attitude of the held lens reliably, and having satisfactory image forming performance. SOLUTION: The image forming lens 8 is composed of a plurality of lenses having different outside diameters and the lens-barrel for holding a plurality of lenses. The lens-barrel has different inside diameters corresponding to a plurality of lenses having different outside diameters and has a plurality of protruding parts per each of different inside diameter parts. A plurality of lenses are inserted through one side of the lens-barrel, and a plurality of lenses and a plurality of protruding parts are mutually brought into pressure-contact with each other and are held in the lens-barrel 8. The different inside diameter parts of the lens-barrel 8 have tapered parts inclined in the direction for contracting each inside diameter part in the direction for inserting a plurality of lenses between the inside diameter part and the other inside diameter part adjacent to it.
