PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aβ-adrenoceptor antagonist useful for treating outer retina disorder. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the use of aβ-adrenoceptor antagonist for producing medicines for treating outer retina disorder as follows: ARMD; RP and other modes of inherited degenerative retina disorder; detached retina and rupture; macular fold; ischemia invading outer retina; damage accompanied by laser therapy (lattice, focus and wide range retina) including photodynamic therapy, heat or cold therapy; external injury; surgical (retina dislocation, subretinal surgery or ablation of vitreous body) or photo-triggered iatrogenic retinopathy; and storage of retina graft.
