PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous paint with less generation of a volatile organic compound during baking. SOLUTION: The aqueous paint contains a resin component (B<SB>1</SB>) prepared by a radical polymerization reaction of a mixture of 0.1-30 wt.% of a specific nitrogen-containing radically polymerizable unsaturated monomer and a carboxyl group-containing radically polymerizable unsaturated monomer and/or another radically polymerizable unsaturated monomer and a resin component (B<SB>2</SB>) obtained by a radical polymerization reaction of a mixture of 1-20 wt.% of the carboxyl group-containing radically polymerizable unsaturated monomer and the specific nitrogen-containing radically polymerizable unsaturated monomer and/or another radically polymerizable unsaturated monomer, wherein the difference between the solubility parameters (SP values) of the resin components are within a range of 0.5-2.0, and contains 0.01-10 pts.wt. of at least one organic acid catalyst (C) composed of dinonylnaphthalene sulfonic acid and/or methanesulfonic acid based on 100 pts.wt. of the solid components of the resin components.
