PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reception strength of an antenna indoors as well by directing the directional characteristics of the antenna to a window without conducting any special operation. SOLUTION: First, the signal strength of a received signal at the antenna 2 is estimated by a reception strength determination part 17 (step S2). When the signal strength of the received signal is below a reference value (Y of step S3), a sunlight direction determination part 15 estimates which direction of light receiving elements 6, 7, 8 and 9 the direction of the coming sunlight faces (step S4). Then, some one of switches 11, 12, 13 and 14 is closed so that the antenna 2, 3, 4 or 5 corresponding to the light receiving element 6, 7, 8 or 9 estimated to be directed toward the window side may be connected to a receiving part 16 (step S5).
