<p>A ferrule connecting structure (1) for optically connecting a pair of fibers (28a,b) which are provided in a pair of ferrules (2a,2b), respectively, the ferrule connecting structure comprises: a first holding portion (3) which holds the pair of ferrules; a peripheral portion (8a,8b) which is provided on the pair of ferrules and which includes a plurality of groove portions (11a,11b); a second holding portion (15a,15b) which is fit in the groove portion so as to hold the ferrule in a particular rotating position about an axis (Ax) of the optical fiber; a third holding portion (13) which is detachably attached to the first holding portion so as to press the first holding portion in a direction intersecting with the axis; and a fourth holding portion (14) which presses the pair of ferrules in a direction in which the end faces of the pair of ferrules are opposed to each other.</p> |
