SHOCK ABSORBING TYPE GUARD-RAIL

PURPOSE: A shock absorbing type guardrail which can gradually absorbs impact which is applied to a guardrail is provided to improve the safety of guardrail by preventing the breaking down of a plate shape rail. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorbing type guardrail comprises a pillar(10) and a plate shape rail(30). The pillar is fixed to the ground. The plate shape rail is installed in pillar. A plurality of cut-outs(20) is formed in both sides of the pillar into multi-stage. An upward projection and a downward projection are formed in inside the cut-out. The upward projection is upward protruded from one side lower end of cut-out. The downward projection is downward protruded from the other side top of cut-out.
