PURPOSE: A camera module and a digital image processing apparatus including the same are provided to reduce the height of the camera module by forming steps on a printed circuit board and arranging a photographing device on the steps. CONSTITUTION: A housing(120) forms an empty space from one portion to another portion, and a lens module(110) is coupled to one portion of the housing. A photographing device(140) converts an image received through a lens module into an electric signal. Steps are formed on a printed circuit board(150), and the photographing device is arranged on the steps and is coupled to another portion of the housing.
