PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to enable a drawer to be automatically ejected or inserted through the input of a command. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator(1) comprises a body(10), a drawer(175), a drive motor, a drawer controller, a main controller, a main power supply, a drawer power supply, and a switching unit. The drawer is prepared in the storage space in the body and can move back and forth. The drive motor supplies the driving force to the drawer. The drawer controller controls the operation of the drive motor. The main controller controls the operation of the electric parts in the body. The main power supply supplies the power to the electric parts in the body. The drawer power supply supplies the required power to the drive motor. The switching unit receives an operation signal from the drawer controller and blocks the power supply so that the drawer power supply is maintained to be off in the state the drawer is closed. |
