<p>A method for decreasing the time for changing channels in electronic devices such as set-top receivers, digital televisions, media players working over Internet Protocols and especially in IP televisions, comprising the steps of controlling the broadcast information on the channel table which contains the broadcast information for each channel and respectively updating the channels on the channel table and related channel accordingly. As the mentioned method envisages that the updating process is performed by the client device, it helps decrease the channel shifting time.</p> |
