The pump (2) compresses the working fluid of the air conditioner refrigerator. It has a pressure relief valve (13) and receives signals (19) from a control module (18). A sensor module (14) on the high-pressure line (3) between the pump and the gas cooler (4) includes a pressure sensor (15) and a temperature sensor (16). The cooled gas (5) goes to a heat exchanger (6), an expansion valve (7) and an evaporator (9). Liquid leaving the evaporator passes into a collector (11). Cool vapor then passes through the heat exchanger and back to the pump (12).
